Help with VX110 shimming
OK, so I read a bunch of post both here and on other forums about the jointpipe leak. My ski was taking on water and coming from this notorious spot. Didn't have a thousand bucks for someone else to fix it for me. Started the process as the forums have instructed. Got joint pipe on, installed new bearings on the driveshaft and back into its location.
This ski must have been sitting in salt water, the motor mounts were destroyed/falling apart. I stupidly removed all the motor mounts and related parts for cleaning and didn't mark or store the shims so that I would know how to put them back in.
Now I have new motor mounts and the motor back in the ski, but the couplers are not lining back up.
Any advice on how to get the motor lined up properly? Any threads that I haven't been able to locate?

I see The intermediate assembly isn't bolted down to the shoe ..any reason why its off?
How many shims did you end up with when you moved the engine.
