    vipec on the 2014 fzr

I just installed the vipec on my fzr and wanted to share the results.
ive been modifying my ski little by little and finally received the vipec earlier this week, installed it Friday and took it to the lake today. the ski is now consistently running 80 with peaks in the 81.5 range but I am still running stock prop, ride plate and intake. what ive done so far is, free flow exhaust, ribbon delete, riva breather, riva intercooler and blow off valve. riva cooling system and riva sponsons ski was 68 stock and was around 71 with all the add ons except the vipec. im expecting more after I start tweaking and install a new prop.

get your stock plate modified by jim , r&d gate, and get your prop dialed in , 85mph at least. stock plate and gate are plows.

    vipec on the 2014 fzr

Is that a custom tune or a preloaded tune. I have a friend doing that speed on an r&d r1 on the limiter with same mods except the cooling kit. Vipec is great option if upgrading wheel or going all out. $3k is alot to spend when getting the same results on the re flash.

Get an intake on there... It makes a huge difference with all those mods you got on there

no custom tune, base map for stage 2 and 91 octane. I debated the reflash, but don't like the idea of its done for me and it is what it is. so far Ive just installed their base map, I still have the lamda sensor to install and start tweaking air fuel mixtures. and its not really 3k, if you know someone with a dealer account, you can get it much cheaper
