RXT X rear bumper sealing.
As most of you with s3 hull skis have probably noticed, the rear bumper scoops water and splashes it up on the rear deck of the ski at low speed. My plan is to remove the bumper and apply clear silicon between the hull and bumper. Does anyone know if their is any reason I shouldn't do this? Such as building up pressure and ripping the bumper off? It may sound like a crazy gripe but I hate that it sprays water on the rear access covers which leak a little.

I dislike it too. Poor design. Doesn't bother me enough to do anything but I hope it works out for you. Keep us updated.

I noticed this on my new RXT. I'm inclined to just let it be. I would like to know if your silicone "fix" works though.

I went to Lowes and bought window seal tape (Foam) and out-lined the panel on the ski side, not the panel itself. It worked GREAT!
