Joel's 2014 FZS SVHO
Thought I would start a build thread on my 2014 FZS SVHO.

Removed foam inserts
Re-located flush fitting to rear of watercraft
I took the ski out for its first test run on the weekend.
In stock form it ran 69.2mph or 111.7kph @ 7700rpm
After Modifications it ran 82.6mph or 133.3kph @ 8180rpm
This Beast is insane!
That speed was ran in very wind conditions and with all parts just straight bolted on with no fine tuning.
If anyone could give advice on where to go from here with fine tuning my setup that would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your time,

Why did you change the head gasket?
Open up the nozzle to 85mm should give you about 1 more mph.

I´m new to Yamaham whats this: Removed foam inserts.
Whats are your thoughts on exhaust?

Foam delete. Under the fake air scoops on the sides are stuffed with flotation. Pull the scoops, remove the foam pieces and reassemble.

i chose not to do exhaust because off the added noise and that it would give minimal gain in power. I'd rather hear the sucking of the pod filter and the dose of the BOV than listen to a droney exhaust all day. But that's just my opinion.
however they do give a nice clean look without all the exhaust baffles in the hull.

If you do the Tommy Jordan exhaust mod you'll like it. No drone at all.
