    Vtech mapping question

I have a 2005 RXT, X-Charger, RRFPR, Bosch 42's, Fizzle HE i/c, Graco strainer, 4" Kanaflex, Riva intake grate, Solas 15/20R, Innovate MTX-L, VTS, Riva thru hull exhaust, pump wedge, water box mod, Riva catch can. I am looking into the vtech but have some programming questions.

Is there a map on the vtech with these mods in it already or will it ask me what charger, injectors ect and make the map with the correct rev limiter.

I don't want to go over 8350 and get into the valve train espicially being and 05 with the potential valve issues.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    John

there are not many 05 maps
you can set the rev limit any where you want
they have a map for 42lb injectors
the problem with the 05 map is they still have the timing set too low, 18* for 180 kpa or 11psi
and that is the max psi it is mapped to

I don't see on their website where 42lb injectors are listed, or do they not list all the maps online?

    http://www.vtechtuned.com/seadoo/

As for the psi, I only see about 10 lbs of boost on the x charger (from the boost guage).

Yes there is a map available for this,

    05 + 42lbs 8350.

Good thing is you have AFR gauge,
    So you can fine tune.

Just purchase the maptuner and tuning credit here www.youTUNEit.net

OK so if I buy the VTech Map tuner for a 2014 rxt-x there will be an additional cost to activate the map editing feature if I want to edit a tune?

with the logger you do not need to install a gauge

No, Mapedit comes with your tuning credit purchase, but you will need to purchase the V-Tech logger in order to log engine parameters, AFR, so that you know what changes you would need to make to the map.

All available in the forums online store www.youTUNEit.net

    Thanks

that is misinformation, all rpm limits are exceeded, even stock its possible to hit 9000 rpm.

But yes it does help to upgrade
