Pontoon input anyone?
Well I sold the ski to purchase a pontoon and spend more time on the water with family and friends. We're looking for a new or semi-new 22-24' pontoon. We're mainly looking to cruise and occasionally fish. I've been looking at Bennington, Southbay, Sweetwater, and Sun Tracker locally contemplating a 2-toon 115hp or a tritoon 150 hp. Any input on whether the nice brands are really built better or just more plush?
(and yes I'll probably buy a ski again eventually I'm just burned out of modding one and all my friends with skis sold theirs or moved away)

We had a Tri-toon on SML for a few years. It had triple 250 Verado's. Would shoot a rooster tail 10' high and a 100' long or so. He'd run down the lake at 65+mph with 3-4 drinkin buddies up front.

More costly is just more plush, they all build them with wood. wood + water = rot; eventually.
tri-toon will have considerably more capacity for things on-board.
a 'toon doin 65+ is cool, but it will eat ALOT of gas; 'toons have the hydrodynamics of a brick.
Personally; I'd opt for the 150horse tri-toon.

I can make you a SMOKING deal on a Premier Pontoon boat!!! Contact me via pm with your wants and needs and I will check my inventory and give you a price. Premier's are kind of on the upper end of style and comfort but I have a few 13's and 2 14's sitting here and they need to GO!!!!!! All of them are brand new, we have taken a few of them to the water for demos or on the water boat shows but all are still considered new!!! The 13's have Evinrude Etecs on them and they are great motors, the 14's have Yamaha 4 strokes on them. I can obviously give you a better deal on the 13 vs a 14.
Let me know!!!!

If you are in cruising mode, you may want to look into a deck boat, room of a pontoon with the speed of a runabout...
