soldering yamaha silver wire
Does anyone know the correct solder to use when soldering the wires on the more modern yamaha harness.
Older ones are copper as are the seadoo ones so easy to solder. When I try and solder the newer silver wire my solder will not attached to the wire correctly.

not to be an ass...but you are using 60/40 rosin core solder?..there's a lot of 50/50 stuff out there that doesn't mention it should not be used on electrical things..
