Boesheild t-9 lubricant and 2007 RXT 215 fuel filter

I was looking at using boesheild t-9 ,instead of my usual, fluid film. Has anyone used this product . As well ,has anyone changed their fuel filter on a 2007 RXT215?
I was reading it was inside the fuel reservoir .

We use t9 on our Ar210. It works well as far as anti corrosion.

Boeshield T9 is an older product, seems to have been surpassed with newer products. I have a few cans around here, don't actually use it for much. Leaves a waxy film that works OK

I generally use Fluid Film when I want a highly protective coating on watercraft stuff.

ok, thanks.....I use fluid film but thought boesheild t-9 might be an upgrade. I will look at the filter procedure.....more as a preventative in case something happens......in automotive as the fuel filter looses porosity it puts higher stresses on the fuel pump,so was concerned it could do that in my RXT as well.

Both filters are available for the 07 RXT module-- quite common actually. Here's 1 listing I just looked up: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Seadoo-RXP-R...5107d6&vxp=mtr

The 08+ is the hard internal 1 to come by.

The Airtex part numbers for both in tank filters are FS242 and FS220. These are for pre 08 models.
