200 hp seadoo spark only does 68mph?
Some $12k to buy and do this to a spark and 200hp and only 68mph? Did I miss something? I am pretty sure I can do this with pump gas and methane on my msx.
An msx will do that with about that much power and out weighs it by over 200 lbs? So did they just botch the hull design?
Seriously an msx 150 owner in tx does 68mph with an upgraded turbo on a stock rebuilt engine with ripped ecu, scat impeller and 100oct.

It doesnt even take 200 HP to make a MSX do 68.
I bet that Spark is just stupid fast getting to 68. The Spark is new and Im sure all of the secrets of tuning the hull have yet to be unlocked. The 90 HP Sparks with just a few bolt ons are doing 55 or 56 I think. To me, and Im sure to many others, the Spark is not a go fast ride anyways. But if you can get crazy fast acceleration that would be a lot more fun than going 70 in a straight line on a big ski.

It just seems like it is a lot of effort and money for what you get. Acceleration is fun but still sucks when someone with a 10 year old Polaris beats your custom raced out alcohol burning 200 hp turbo spark.
I did not really want speed with my build but I wanted better longevity and handling. The added speed is just a bonus.
If jumping waves is what you do then that turbo spark would be a blast. Also E85 is not available in all states and is way more expensive than pump gas to set up and uses a third more fuel. So that spark is using more fuel than the big boys.
