Someone on here had a big spool of the OEM red fuel hose a while back, was selling lengths for a good price.

Might have been nmpeter, ask if he has any left.

Paul. He hasn't been here in a bit though.

not I, I only have the shields stuff.

I'd pay a few more bucks to have it in red, but doubtful they would even think about making it.

Fuel line should be red.....On my ford pickup there are labels every couple of feet on the fuel line that state "fuel line"..surprised they are still stuck on there.....

Wasn't there a service bulletin about putting that red fuel line into some anti-abrasive conduit?

Just winterized a Polaris with red fuel lines this week..sweet machine with 30 hours on it.

All Polaris Ficht engines should have the fuel hose(s) between injectors sleeved, regardless of the color of the fuel hose. The injector brackets can abrade against the hose, especially the lower 'supply' hose and can wear a hole in the side of the hose due to vibration.

Any time you see a Ficht engine without the protective sleeving (which is a service bulletin item) check whether the hose(s) have been abraded by the injector bracket edges. If damaged, replace the short fuel hose sections. Then sleeve them with convoluted plastic protective material.

I have posted photos somewhere on here of the typical hose damage and what the protective sleeving looks like.

Yes. It was basic wire loom and zip ties.
