    Washing salt deposits off engine.

Hi folks, whats the correct way to wash salt deposits off your engine.

Do you just spray inside the engine comparment with water and let it flow out of the drain plug or is it best not to wash it at all?

I know I need to flush the engine with fresh water......but just wondered how people wash the outside of their motors.

Warm soapy water , then rinse off ..

Use a cheap Wet Vac to suck it out , I have done it with top off ...

Then spray with bom lube but not on rubber hoses as they soften up ..
