New member with FZS checking in with first post

    Hello all,

I've been doing a lot of FZS post reading over the past week, I sold my 04 FXHO and picked up a bone stock 2011 FZS with 16hrs. So far I love it! Looking forward to doing some mods and learning more about the FZS's.

If anyone has a digital copy of the service manual they could email me that would be great, thanks.

I want to change the oil and I'm not sure what weight to get.

I've seen those kits on Amazon, do know the part# for the FZS SHO kit. Any cheaper place to buy?

have the 2011 as well and do the same yamalube 10w40 -- filters for the sho is a dealer item --no aftermarket that I know of....typically around 22 bucks -- oil same price for the gallon jug.

change the oil often -- I think manual says every 50 hours and filter every 100 --- but I would double up --- oil every 25 and filter and oil every 50 -- as you don't get all of it out so changing it more often keeps it cleaner.
