Dave I was at both your showings and IMO you are a danger to other racers. You really need to ride the coarse and not just blast around without a clue in the world. Did you even talk to the rider you cut off in West haven and sent him into the pier? My guess is no as he is a friend of mine..
Sorry for the rant but IMO you should not be racing in any class.

Steve you don't know what your talking about ,to say "ride without a care in the world" is ridiculous .I cut no one off he swung to wide with that yellow outside buoy near the wall and must have hit it.I won both holeshots to the first buoy so the other racers were chasing me ,eventually I got tired and racers past me , that's ok that's racing BUT I don't give up my line or let someone pass and get out of the way because their getting close to me it's is not like being lapped ,that different then you make room for the approaching racer .In both motos I missed 1 buoy that I recall, there was no penalty for dangerous riding from ski Marshall or race director..
Dont come on here and exaggerate because he's your friend ..
For a guy who's been around you should understand the CC IJSBA rule book regarding passing and approaching riders "it's be aware of oncoming racer" not you must move out way ,the oncoming racer must look for the easiest and safe time to overcome another racer..
CC PWC racing is a close contact sport at times with water splashing and racers trying and competing to get to the next buoy..

Maybe there is a video of that race someone took ?

I did not cause any danger on that course, racers are rubbing rails in CC racing especially around buoys it's the nature of the business and FYI that yellow buoy was awfully close that jetty wall but that's how they set it up..
