    2004 rxp with 951 swap?

I have someone attempting to buy a hull from me that claims they want to put in a 951. Sounds like bs to me as the stock 4tec is a 215 and I can't see how a 951 in that big of a body would even move. He claims they are the same weight skiis as some ski that had the engine. I suspect he just wants the vin number to swap to a stolen as he is constantly trying to buy hulls (even with smashed bottoms). Is there something I'm missing about putting a 951 in a 2004 rxp hull?

The RXP and RX DI hull's are identical so it's possible.. Still don't see why anyone would want to go through the effort to do it...

the Rx and RXP aren't the same, the 03 gti is nearly the same with a few changes, so it should go better than a gti rfi which is ok.
all up it gets him on the water

so I guess my question is: Is this guy really trying to do this swap or swap to a stolen ski?

If your selling your ski legitimately.
    Hes paying legitimately.

Then what he does with it- who cares?
    Your not doing anything wrong

I care because a couple years ago someone stole my ski and it never turned up. For personal reasons I don't want to enable someone else to have their ski stolen.

unless you have a way to prove it then its a legit sale and yes as the seller you have the choice to sell to whom ever you want, heads up not all vins are used for stolen skis, some are used to avoid heavy taxes in other countries, lets just assume some one has a legit 2012 and manages to get the paper work for a 2009 well taxes for a 2012 here in my country are 9,000 usd for a 2012 but 2009 it runs 6,000, you get the idea. for a 2014 or 2015 its like purchasing it twice you could pay 10-15k only taxes.
