    Sierra Oil Filters

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone uses Sierra oil filters on their SHOs? I called a local boat store to get an oil filter for the FZR and requested a Yamaha Genuine filter, (I only ordered from them hoping they could get it within a day or two) 1 week later a Sierra filter shows up.

I usually only go Yamaha Genuine but wanted to see if you guys have any input. I might stick it on there for the winter, and use it for a few hours then switch it out mid-summer next season.

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

This is big news to me as I have putting only OEM filters on the 1800 --- probably save some money instead of the 22 bones for the OEM

So to confirm AC Delco PF53 or ask for one that fits a 4litre Toyota -- any idea on what model and year Toyota....

The Toyota filter is almost the same, I don't think it has the anti drain back valve as the other. I'll cut one open to see. Either way they are both made by denso

I've been using a K&N HP 1002. Same dimensions as a OEM filter. Yes it has an anti-drain back valve.
