Found while stripping new to me Boat (pictures)

I thought this little gem might be interesting.

    1) It does not have any visible holes.
    2) It's empty
    3) the sell by date makes it as old as the boat.

I found it in the center storage stuck out of view for 16-18 years?

    Indeed!!

So far this project has included:

    1) 6 wasp nests, 4 nests in the trailer, one nest in the exhaust, one nest in the hood.
    2) This pristine Pepsi can
    3) a scorpion
    4) a 4" roach
    5) a couple of small plants
    6) 10 gallons of 2 year old fresh premix

and the treasure is all mine!

lol. Scorpion? I thought I was the only one with those little evil bastards around. I kill several every week except in the 2-3 months of cooler weather we get...which is almost here finally!

That's funny, I feel your pain. We have a few, they won't kill you, but they will give you a bad day!

The roach was dead, (run in with a scorpion?) the wasps were relentless though, and I'm sure it was very entertaining for the neighbors to watch me kill em with a yellow bottle torch (very effective push button activation), HF electric fly swatter (only stunned them), carb spray to get them out of the trailer, a hose handy in case of fire, etc....

It's hard to say "cooler weather' around those that actually have to endure winter, but we have summer, and summer break also.

It's interesting that the can is empty, and still unopened. Osmosis?

It is possible that over the years the top and bottom end cap seams became compromised enough to allow leakage, thereby emptying the can. Especially if exposed to salt and/or freezing.

Also, there is an old trick of rotating the opening tab to the side, putting a pinhole in the top, draining the can, then putting the opening tab back into the factory position hiding the pinhole. I seriously doubt that this is the case here though. lolololollolololol
