New member saying hi with a question

Hey everyone, I picked up a 2000 xl ltd as a project but have a question about greasing the pump.
In the services manual it says to use marine grease and to be careful not to overfill and damage the feed tube, which is fine but how much do I fill it up, how do I know when it's full?

Give it three or four pumps. If you are careful you can feel it get a bit harder to pump. Stop.

If your talking about the intermediate housing.......pump slow. Also since your new just fyi, that grease is NOT for lubrication of the bearing its to maintain a water seal between seals in the housing.
