    2011 gti winterization

Hello - I am in the process of doing the winterizTion of my ski. This will be the first year that I will have it stored in my garage, unheated but insulated. I'm wondering if it is necessary to pump a mix of antifreeze and water through the engine. I've seen some people do and others just change the coolant in the engine compartment. What are your thoughts on this???

I downloaded the shop manual for my RXT and followed the winter storage procedure. There is nothing stated about pumping anti freeze through the system, so I didn't.

The motor already has coolant in it (closed loop cooling)... you're only pumping RV antifreeze through the exhaust system.
all you need to do is pump RV antifreeze through the exhaust, no need to mix it with water. use a sump pump and a 5 gallon bucket, connect the output from the pump to your flush port on the rear of the hull, place the bucket under your jet pump to collect the antifreeze as it comes out of the jet pump.
it's also wise to squirt storage oil into the cylinders per the seadoo winterizing procedure.
also disconnect the battery and put it on a battery tender.
