it hooks up better. I had to mill down the front mounting pad and extend the bolt holes.

Do you have any other Mods than the grate because i dont feel see the difference on mine, yes of course in the corners you feel the difference but thats it!

If you want to see speed and better acceleration then this is the intake grate. I have measured my ski with stock and with riva and with RD. With my mods and with stock filter plus the filter in the intake, with the stock i saw 74.2 top! I took it out and changed it to RD and i saw immediatly 77.3! Put a 4 inch filter, took the filter from the intake and changed to a solas 14/19 and i saw 79.8. I broke the RD cause i took the rope from the anchor with the hook and i destroyed it. So i thought to try riva. The speed was 78.2. So i took it out and tried the new rd which i got from Jerry and the speed was 80.1 in gps. Unfortunatly i run out of battery so i used the stock one for a second run and i saw 84.
So in my opinion its the best and its lighter. Also if you see the blades in all 3 ones the rd are much more aggresive and they "push" the water in the middle of the pump when riva is an improved verison of the stock one but pushes the water in the upper side of the pump.

Picked up .5-.6 and it's been a better all around performer for me.

If you ride a lot in choppy water, the R&D is hand down better than the stock.
Heck I didn't see any speed loss with it as well.
