Going to pick up a 2013 gti 130 this weekend anything beyond basics i should inspect
So finally going to go buy my wife her own ski. I found a good deal on a 2013 GTI 130 already sitting on a 2013 double Triton aluminum trailer. Ski has under 40 hours. I will check impeller, oil, look at shaft and inspect hull anything else I should really look at this will be my first Sea Doo. I also got to ask is the carbon seal thing a real concern? If it does start to go bad will there be any signs beyond the thing just sinking? we do lots of distance trips with the boats and ski's we also live at the beach so we do go off shore just dont want to be 10 miles or so offshore and this thing starts to go down.

You should test ride it but I'm sure you already know that.

It can be beneficial for your pocketbook to put it in the water and see if it leaks anywhere, crank it up on the trailer (seat off) let it come up to operating temp. May not be necessary but,I like to run them (put under a load) with the seat off to see if anything spraying, smoking, etc.. of top of my head I think the limiter is 7300rpms, should run up around there
