Thumbs down Yamaha to send your survey to the dealership (WITH YOUR DETAILS)

Next time you fill "Anonymous" satisfaction survey on the Yamaha website... think twice
Since the last service was not great - I took the time to fill out the questioner and send it back to Yamaha (Yes!! Yamaha, not the dealership)!! .

Today I got a call from the dealership - asking why I gave Yamaha such a negative feedback about their shop,
Wouldn't it make more sense to provide the dealerships with the results of the surveys without throwing the customers under the bus?
Its the closest Yamaha dealership around me other dealerships are like two hours away, How do Yamaha expect me to go back to the same dealership???

A good dealership would have made it right with you, not question what you said, so you would come back to them and they could improve. That's why they know who, to fix it. Sounds like just a bad dealer.

As long as what you commented about was the whole truth not just your version of the incident the dealer should be calling to do something about it rather than accuse you of something.

Yeah, same thing happened to me with the big truck dealership. They were upset that I answered the survey truthfully and didn't even try to rebut what I said. They were mad because it makes them look bad to the district manager or something. They encouraged me to talk to them instead of fill out the survey in the future.

I just received one from the Mackenzie corporation with a dollar bill enclosed in the envelope. Doesn't look Yamaha specific at all. Asking a bunch of questions

Yeah, I took the dollar and gave to my daughter to color on. I doubt they will be able to decipher this code of answers

I had the same problem. My dealer sent a copy of the survey back to me with a very nasty letter attached saying "How dare I tell Yamaha this?"
