R&D Big Flow Intercooler for 13 RXP?

I have been browsing the forums for a while and I want to replace the stock intercooler before it fails, my question is why doesn't anyone talk about the R&D intercooler? They claim it out performs all oem cores and aftermarket intercoolers on the market. People have been having leaks and issues with the Riva Gen III but I can't find any discussion on the R&D unit. Also if I buy this unit should I just cap off the over flow line? On the R&D unit it has just a water in and out, on my stock 13 inter cooler it has the overflow pisser line. Thanks

The mysterious R&D cooler? I know it's the most expensive. Let see if anyone out there has one with pictures?

I'm going Riva with those magnificent welds.

Riva has sold so many and only a few have issues so far?

Also how does the salt management come into play? I heard about 1 fresh water failure so far?

I would use fizzle over R&D any day. R&D is too overpriced for me

So I guess I will be the first one to buy it? The air inlets have dividers which utilize the entire core making it completely efficient. I was just wondering other then price why no one has bought one?

Why would you pay more for something when there is a less expensive option that works the same or better?

R&D claims there design has out performed all aftermarket and stock intercooler units. No one has tested that out, I am going to be the first I guess? I was just wondering why no one has purchased one yet and if the price was the only reason people have stayed away from it. Does anyone know if R&D makes these units or has them made 3rd party? Thanks

I think not many people talk about the R&D intercooler because not many people use it. What Chris (slow 91) said rings very true, why pay more for something when there's something less expensive that performs the same or better?

As far as the Riva Gen III, it performs good and it fits the stock piping. What has been disappointing me with Riva is an increasing number of complaints I have been hearing about Riva's lack of willingness to warranty its intercooler. I only know this because I have had several people recently buy my intercooler as a replacement to their leaking Riva Gen III intercoolers along with hearing their stories.

I would argue that the Fizzle F1000 performs the same or better and is priced significantly cheaper. I attached a few pictures of the Fizzle F1000 Intercooler for you to check in case you're interested. One is the install done by VXslayer.

I'll put this out there for anyone who is a disappointed Riva Gen III customer. If your intercooler failed and you want a Fizzle F1000, I will give you a $100 credit for that useless intercooler.

I would also recommend the F1000 based on customer service, price and most importantly, price!
