Sea doo storage
Any ideas on staking sea doos? I am looking to stack one on top of another and I have limited garage height. Is there any lift sling that is rated for storage? Looking to hang my 130 and have my rxt under. It looks like I can fit both in a 93 inch ceiling if I put one backwards and 1 forwards and basically make them seat under seat. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The sling wouldnt be a problem, the mounting of the sling would be an issue to make sure the rafters/beams could support 800 lbs for 6 months!!!!???
Plus how would you get the ski up there????

Maybe an A frame with the beam at ceiling height using a chain hoist lift the 130 then strap front and rear around beam. Would probably want to put the rxp on a cart to make it easy to roll around and could be made lower than your trailer bunks. I would go overkill with the A frame.

Pay a shop or marina for storage.
Probably cheaper then the building of racks will cost you
and 100% a whole lot safer.

http://m.harborfreight.com/http-www-...www.google.com. They even have bigger one's I believe. No doubt storage would be safer, but depending on how long it May not be cheaper. I have an old A frame that has pulled out many a big diesel out of boats that weigh a while lot more than any ski. I cannot personally recommend the hoist I linked... it just came up on a basic search and May be to tall with the wheels removed once I looked back and saw you only had 93 inches to work with and it's 99.5 w/ 5 inch wheels (isn't that how it always works out)
