    tell tail on polaris slth 1999

    hey guy just got this ski. do they have a tell tail to make sure the cooling system is operating ok?

    No, Polaris didn't install one from the Factory.

    i believe the 99's do but for sure the 98's do.they use adome bolt with a hex head.these bolts break the heads off and get pushed into the head cover outlet and block off water flow,main reason polaris switched over to allen bolts

    "tell tail"... as in the visible water spout you can see on Yamahas?? No... Polaris never used those. But folks have plumbed different versions of them on thier skis.

    The Yamaha one only tells you that the jet pump is flowing water, not necessarily the cooling system.
