Jettrim seat issue
Since Ive got an 03 gp1300r now and letting my wife have the 01 1200 the jettrim seat cover is not desirable to my wife - she hates the way it rubs on her legs - Im gonna hate to rid of the mostly blue with black and silver seat cover cuz it really makes the 01 look great but gotta make the mrs. happy. Im not a fan of the stock blue seat but may have to result to it. I know Ive seen an all black cover on a 01 or 02 but cant remember how good it looks. Can anyone recall or does anyone have this settup with pics?

Get Billy to snap a photo of his all black seat on his 01.

Let me rephrase oh great one.
Get Billy to take the black seat off of is 2000, AKA silver bullet, and put on his wifes 01.

Hey Guys, Can I jump on this thread and ask another seat cover question?
When you put a seat cover on the GPR's do you remove the factory cover? Also is it possible to remove some of the foam from the sides that make the seat feel so wide?
My thoughts are to order a Jettrim seat cover, install it over the factory vinyl cover to prevent foam waterlogging, BUT to remove some of the foam "bump" from the sides?
Anyone do anything like this. Any tricks or advise would be appriecated.
