Best way to return Vtech maptune for software update?

Ok, colder now and want to get my Maptune software updated to the latest version. Does anyone have any tricks or good deals for shipping international? Just left the ups store.
    UPS $85
USPS $30 not bad but no tracking past the U.S. border and no insurance.

    What are you guys doing?

thanks in advance for the help!

FedEx has been quite good from US to Sweden for me. I'd say circa $60 if you use a broker rather than direct to FedEx. (A broker gets a big discount for putting all their business through one shipper and pass this on to the end customer. Even with their middle hand it will still be cheaper than you'll get yourself).

FedEx is also super quick even on standard service. UPS is slow unless you pay for Express upgrades.

Tigerdoo, I send packages overseas daily using USPS Express Mail or Priority mail. Either method has tracking and insurance.

Thanks Tornado35 and Jerry for the quick and informative replies! Well, I guess I need to go directly to the post office. I was going by what I was told at the ups store.

Thanks Jonatan - I've done that and paid the return shipping. Now just need to get it to you.
