    R&D pump seal opinions

What are peoples opinions on the R&D pump seal? I can't find many posts with results/opinions.
I'm thinking of putting one on my turbo RXP when I install a L13 pump cone. I already have SS wear ring, good prop and driveshaft seal.
    I'm looking for awesome holeshot.

I have one it does the job noticed the rubber is starting to peal off the top edge but seems to seal good. Is it worth the money matter of opinion I guess.

I like them although I found them to not fit well on some skis

Thanks for the input. I guess probably worth a try being relatively cheap.

Make sure you order the right one. The www is not 100% clear. One is for 'normal' pump that bolts to shoe, the other is for pump that bolts to ride plate (2009/10 skis - not sure, but was only for a short time before going back to bolting on shoe).

Put one on my 14 RXP-X and was far better than the stock flimsy deformed one.

Have to agree, with Kaybat, if your stock seal is in good shape, just use some sealant. If your setup is already tuned in and you don't have a need to remove the pump all of the time sealing it on will eliminate any air from getting in around the seal.

I seal mine on when I know that all is set and not going to need to come off for a while.

You don't need hardly anything on the seal, I put a few dabs then smear round with a finger, works a treat!!!
