    GPF12R GPF15R Turbo ? Honda ??

I'm sure to been thought of but Why has this not been attempted ? Or has it ? It's got to be cheaper to mod a Honda motor than a Rotax motor..so why not any of the Honda pwc motors highly modded in a GP hull ?
They are 4cyl turbo motors capable of handling high hp.

Why not even try to use something along the lines of a built B18 f29 k20 h22 etc...?

I'm not a rice rocket guy..never owned a hinda BTW
    Thoughts?

i think its been tried before but not much sucess or there was never any credible information written on it. with the plethora of options and a surplus of motors available the 4tec motor is like the SBC/GEN III/IV smallblock of the automotive world.... theres enough variants of them going around that its easy to pluck one and upgrade what is needed..... it doesnt take much for the 4Tec or SHO motors for that matter to go fast in an GPR hull

Still gotta be cheaper to mod a Vtec over a 4tec..
for the everyday rider I'm sure a stock 215 swap Is sufficient..but if your trying to go 90-100+ It's gonna cost $15- $20k, right ? I would think the comparable mods could could be done to a Honda motor for half that..
just maniny curious why it hasn't been attempted too often and how fast they would go..and with the crazy Honda auto following I don't know how it hasn't branched out into modding pwc. I have heard Hondas working on a come back into the pwc market as well..

someone was building one, but I believe the biggest obstacle was the sump of the Honda motor wouldn't fit in the gpr hull without a lot of modifications, there is a thread here somewhere tho. may want to try doing a search

Is already done by a south florida shop called AD TURBO. Theres videos out there of the ski. Major issue was the torque ripping off the tunnel and transom wall.
