    Aftermarket sponsons

Are there any aftermarket sponsons for the RXP that will perform better than the stock ones? Do the stock ones rob any top end speed and what are the trade offs in handling? I had a pair of Beach House sponsons on a GTX and they seemed okay.

Beach House doesn't make sponsons for the RXP (RXT, GTX...same sponsons fit all 4-tec boats) Riva, Worx, R&D and Aggressor make sponsons to fit. Different people have differing views as to which they prefer. My pick would be the Riva for general use.

    ??

Do you mean Beach House doesn't make them for 4-tec boats? My old '98 GTX LTD had Beach House sponsons (still does). Why do you like the Riva brand?

Thats correct...BH doesn't make them for 4-tec boats. They do for the other SD models.

I believe if a poll were taken, most of the people (no longer "guys" as we now have some lady riders who post) would vote for the Riva sponsons. If you are into the bouy course I think the Aggressors would cut the sharpest...next to custom made sponsons, that is.

I have the WORX sponsons, but must admit the Riva sponsons are much better.

Our race team is runing 4 Rivas and 1 R&D Sponson, my brother (Spidercraft) lost piece of his Riva sponson about six inches from the front of the STBD side, did not hit anything, we are replacing all of them with Aluminum duplicates, I agree for recreational Riva's are nice.

I have the R&D G-Force Sponsons, with the little I have to compare, I`d say it is an improvement...PR...
