Synthetic oil versus Regular injection Oil (2 stroke)

I have plenty of Seadoo brand Synthetic oil that I purchase on sale for my 96 Seadoo XP a while back, but my 96 died on me last summer and am I currently taking that engine apart. My question is, would it damage my 94 XP if I put synthetic oil in it ?

Synthetic Oil is butterfly your engine. Remember shelf life of oil is about 5 years.

That's good to know, thanks. I would'nt want to loose my 94 XP by using the wrong oil, since it is my "back up" seadoo for the summer while I fixed my 96 XP...LOL

Do you think there would be any benefit in using Synthetic on an older 94 XP. Would the engine run better on Seadoo Syntec versus Seadoo ash oil?
