Bought the 2007 yamaha fxho back to alive from dead.
2007 Yamaha fx cruiser ho
Went to buy couples parts for my pontoon boat that how saw her sat on ground in back of local boat shop the original engine was had connect rod failure cause major damaged on the block and head and she was about to parted out and sold as parts but I convinced the owner to sell to me for very cheap. Took me 6 months to find a engine at good deal bought it and installed in yamaha now she alive and back on the lake again after almost two years sit in back of boat shop.
Bought yamaha for 800 and spent 1300 on engine total 2100 spent not bad? I saved about 3k-4k and even better the comfortable feeling with know that I has new engine in her than buying 5k-6k that may have a hidden problem that I don't know of.
This is what I first saw at boat shop.
After I cleaned her up inside and out getting ready for engine to be drop in.
Inside de hull was full of oil and metal pieces from broken motor case.
Redneck way lol
