I recently got a old Seadoo Speedster ( 2004 ) 200. Twin 155HP. After reading alot here i dont seem to get close to what its ment to do. Firstly to get on a plain both engines full at 7500rpm takes like 20 seconds 3 people on. Checked wear ring and impeller, seems ok, small gap between them.. ( how easy would SS wear ring give in ? )
We have no Seadoo Agents in the area ,so not possible to take in, have to try myself.
If i do need new wear ring and impellers what would you suggest ? I am more into thrust than speed.
With the problems out the way..hopefully soon. any tips or tricks on the boat ?

Can you post pics of the gap??? It maybe excessive...
How are the carbon ring and bellows setups??
Are any of the impeller blades bent or damaged??

That is some excessive clearance between the impeller and wear ring... I would replace the wear rings, but first can you tell me if these are plastic pump housings?? Is the groove/clearance on one side more than the other??
If you answered yes to either of those questions, you may have warped pump housing and they will need to be replaced...
