    Candoo pro

I am just wondering if anyone has purchased the Candoo GPS speedometer module and if so where they mounted the device --- specifically on a FZS model

Just wanted to get some ideas before my installation. - pics of spot would be great

    thanks

Works very good. Install in 10 minutes. No wrench scissors screwdriver required

Too bad the FZ gauges only register 80.

I truly hope they can get these things working on the VXS/VXR because I need two of em.

thanks for the replies and the link -- very quick install and very cool product. I ended up mounting on to the plastic frame that holds the white access cover on. It had an inside corner and the unit fit up against the frame inside the access panel and to the upper port side. I will post on the other link as well as it seems to have everyones info

I mounted mine today and just zip tied it up to the wire bundle right next to where the connector is. There is a plastic covered bundle that runs parallel to the ground so it was perfect for keeping it pointed up. Two zip ties and was done in a couple minutes.

And they are almost impossible to read riding on anything but the smoothest water. I think analog gauges on a ski where you are constantly bouncing are much harder to read than a digital one. I really think Yamaha needs to step up their game with their instrumentation.

These GPS units work perfectly. I have 2 of them.

They better not get rid of the analog gauges. Its one of my favorite things about the FZ and was a huge reason I like it over the seadoo gauges. Now if the LCD in the center of them they want to upgrade to more functions I am cool with that but leave my Analog gauges alone..
