    Well I will start the thread

    what is the fault

    Corrosion in the main connector 20 pin between the main deck

    What BRP say

    The dealer had no idea why the corrosion was caused by but need to replace both upper and main looms.

    Under my further ingestions found that the battery cell was blowing off the end cap and them spraying acid onto the connector after time it has eaten to the wires and connector, I have noticed corrosion in the connector and cleaned and sprayed some wd40 so BRP just says it corroded the seals what a load of shit What would Mr WD40 say this crap

    What the reason for denial for warranty claim

    REf Damage from rust, corrosion or exposure to the elements;
    Damage resulting from removal of parts, improper repairs, service, maintenance,
    modifications or use of parts not manufactured or approved by BRP or
    resulting from repairs done by a person that is not an authorized servicing BRP
    dealer;

    EG Only servicing by a BRP dealer only or your not covered WTF

    I had a 20 mins phone call to BRP Australia just don't care will just say anything with out any justification just to reject your claim.

    Merry Christmas BRP NOT HAPPY JAN

    WOW...WD40 caused the corrosion according to BRP? You would think the dealer would side with the customer and get this fixed quickly. I think I'll pick up a good AGM battery from the start.

    yes original battery was faulty
    I noticed a few times that the end cell cap had come up and off I guess build up of gas.
    It now has a fully sealed battery but the damaged is done.

    As for WD40 BRP will just say anything to knock back claim with out any proof up to you to prove otherwise.

    Just like if you use your cell phone on a plane it will fail out the sky we all know now that's BS
    Looking at some legal options.

    I Just had the wiring loom replaced on mine under warranty at 54 hours. But when the ski had 8 hours on it the pump bearing was faulty and they would not do anything as the ski was modified. At 54 hours it has alot more mods than 8

    Not in one year. Plus he said he cleaned and sprayed AFTER he saw corrosion. It's just wrong to use that as an excuse after one season.
