    Oil Filter Part number

It is only recommended that you use the Honda filter on the Aquatrax as there have been issues with other brands.

Part # I have found is 15410-MCJ-003 and is about $12.

I have used other filters in the past and never had any problems. I hae even used the fram filter without issue. When someone wants a certain filter, thats what I get them.

I would stay with the O.E.M. honda. Oil pressure at start up can be as high as 120+ psi. Fram is not rated for this pressure. Tee-in guage (150 psi) on the sensor port just in front of the oil filter. Its not automotive stuff here, be carefull

I'm going to backup Locoman on this..

first time i put a Honda on the engine dyno i saw the feed pressure and it was about 150 psi.

This is not the normal running engine pressure, but the does filter have specific bypass pressures,. i would not care to research for a $2 savings or whatever it could be. Same filter is used for the Honda motorcycle now.

    just use the stock one

that OEM filter mcj-003 supercedes to a 15410-mfj-d01, they are pretty close to the same price as the mcj
