ski died at near full throttle and now wont start

so yesterday I was at our local lake and had a boost clamp snap due to corrosion (good quality one as well)
after re[lacing it with an old one I had as a spare , I took the ski out for a test run
I was ridding through some fairly rough water at about 50 mph , as it flattened out I pulled the throttle and got to about 65 mph and the ski suddenly died (almost throwing me over the front)
I glanced at the dash and could see speedo on about 40mph and taco on 5,000 revs , so I was wondering what the hell was going on .
then I came to a complete stop and realised the motor was not running , dash needles were still in the same spot

my first thought was that I had blown the motor , so I pushed the start button .
to my surprise the engine turned over dash needles dropped back to rest position but it wouldn't fire , and dash would not spark up like usual
fuel pump and bilge are not turning on
it is motec not factory ecu so not locked
after being towed back to shore I tried to power up motec and it will not power up the ski
the ski will turn over and occasionally fire but wont run
fuel pump is not turning on so I presume that is the reason

anyone have any ideas as to what may have happened

    Found the issue
It's a broken or loose wire in the harness somewhere
If I shake the harness the ski will run

Glad you found the issue. I had that happen at WOT on one of our Sea-Doos and fortunately it turned out to be just a fuse.
How many hours do you have on her now?

Ended up finding a broken pin in the connector

no i just ran a joining wire around the outside
i run a motec and it was a pin on the motec harness that broke , and it has been filled with a solid sealer
so no chance of getting that wire out
plus i was unable to get the broken pin out of the female end
