    X charger swap question 2008 gtx215

Hello greenhulk, I've been looking for some info on an x charger swap. I purchased the front half of an x charger with 42lb injectors and x charger wheel to put in my 2008 gtx215. My question is if I can just replace the wheel and front half of the 215 sc or would I need both x cases? Please help as I am trying to do this ASAP

You will need both cases as a 215 wheel is 127mm and a X wheel is 137mm

I am aware of the size difference but I was under the impression that the front half of the x charger would be all I needed.

No, you will need an X charger rear housing also, or have your 215 rear housing machined to accommodate the larger diameter X charger impeller.

NOPE, 215 hp has a 127mm wheel that puts out 6-7psi
    a 255 has a 137mm wheel that puts out 10-11 psi
YUP 2011 and up all supercharger base plates have the same part number. 215, 255 or 260. they are all 137 just dont all have a 137 wheel in them. And if you went to the dealer to buy a brand new 08 gtx 215 base plate, its going to supersede to a 137

If you're only swapping to an X charger & stock OR 4" air intake BUT leaving the OEM internal IC in place keep the 38's in there. You'll have much better start ups, acceleration and fuel economy and run mid 11's AFR. The 42's are too much for a setup WITHOUT an external IC along with the X charger and will give you occasional hard starts and rough idle not to mention High 10's AFR.

Just thought i'd share with ya.
