SC Idler shaft on SV Block

Just a question to anyone in the know if yamaha changed the idler shaft on the SVHO or did the NON Supercharged blocks not get drilled for the idler gear?

just want to confirm before i go taking a block to be machined if it doesnt need to be.
i have checked the part numbers and SVHO Idler shaft comes up the same as a SHO. I can only assume the block i have was a non SC model. if anyone could shed some light

    cheers

    Cheers mate!

after a bit more looking around i soon worked out its a HO Block will need to go get the sc idler shaft holes drilled along with the sc dowels and oil feed hole, aswell as the knock sensor. The feed banjo bolt to the oil pump needs to be tapped in too.
I also found the Earth plates are completely different design now. Saying that from the wiring diagrams it all still seems to be the same pin outs.

    bit of a task ahead.

Nah thought about it kev. Alot more involved that first thought its still worked out cheaper to get another block even though it needs machining. Its in being done now so hopefully not much longer its been 6months.
