GTX with X charger...fuel requirements??
I have an 06 GTX 185. It has a 215 ecu, big external intercooler, 2010 waterbox and midpipe, rear exhaust, 4" rear air and i have removed the flame arrestor from the manifold. In the 38 C (100 F) heat here in Australia it could do 106 kph (64 mph...on a phone app which i know is not super accurate) at just shy of 7400 rpm. It has a solas prop fitted by the previous owner which is a little to steep in its pitch.
I have a spare x charger here. I also have a spare 58 psi reg from a 215. If i run the x charger with the 17 tooth gear from the 185 charger would i need to upgrade injectors...??? Or given the slightly lower boost from the 17 tooth gear would i be ok??

Ok, so i went with the 215 reg and 42's, Put the 215 reg in to start with and it ran great on the hose. Then added the 42's. A little rough, idle hunted from 1680 to 1920. Im guessing its a little richer but it didnt smell fuelly and there was no dark exhaust gasses emitted.
Becuase i ran it on the hose the engine didnt get anywhere near warm operating temp so im hoping this will make a difference.
Attached is a photo of the plug after the short run?? To dark or acceptable???
