Log Term Updates, Upgrades, Questions
Well its -2 F here in Pittsburgh o figured I'd warm up ad talk about the 300
Thanks GreenHulk(4tec) ad those on the forum after great '14 season with the solas 14/21, great setup for my '11 300x, highly recommend it.
As for maintenance/issues:
-104 hrs, first ride of the season ad my steering cable fitting popped, lost steering and almost hit bridge pier. Note that the recall was done and not replaced it "looked ok" according to dealer. Replaced under warranty.
-My dealer at the end of the season says that supercharger belt "looks brand new, no cracks" @ 120hrs. Should I to make him install a new one and how big of a deal is it to replace?
-Pump bearings, dealer says no need to replace "inspected and looked great, torqued impeller pump looks new" @ 120hrs..any thoughts?
My riding partner is going to be MIA for the '15 season so riding solo and a breakdown is not my idea of fun

if you are riding salt water remove the belt tensioner pop out the pivot bush a grease it. this will save you a belt when it eventually seizes.

Is this the same dealer that said the steering pivot "looked ok"?...Just sayin`
