    Air intake on GTR

Hey guys, in the process of installing a home made 4" intake and have question regarding OEM fuel tank straps. With removal of stock air box how have people secured their fuel tank again as straps are too long? Have googled shorter straps but have had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Riva sells a strap set I believe. Alot of us just tie a knot in the oem ones and through them back on.

Here you go Davrac, this strap ugprade is shorter than stock and is used to secure the tank when the stock air box is removed

Another option is to place 4 inch PVC couplers or sections in place of where the stock airbox/air intake was to keep your original straps. I did this with my 07 RXP and have been running it that way for years without them budging.
