Let me check which size 'exhaust water bypass fittings' I bought from Watcom.

I used the 90 degree exit style, slightly modified.

I think this is the size.

WATER BY PASS FTG 3/8 90 DEG SLVR

I used a small Dremel cutting bit to trim back the internal metal ledge where the incoming and exit bores meet. Rounded the elbow interior for a smoother flow and less spray/splash in the exit stream.

The hull material was so thick I had to grind a round pocket/recess on the interior surface to allow the pisser mounting nut to thread on. These are installed on my MSX 140 just above the rub rails on each side, right where the traction mat 'hump' is highest.

I think the EMM water outlet hose is possibly 5/16. I used a 3/8 pisser and just stretched the smaller hose over it.

The pisser is usually the room with the toilet in it by the way.

I thought that was the "water bypass fitting" room?

Arrow External water exit 'pisser' installation on Ficht Virage TXi

Here are some photos of my Virage TXi which now has two pissers, one on each side.

Left side pisser water comes from the EMM which I have relocated to the center rear of the 2002 Virage TXi hull.

Right side pisser is for the flywheel housing water jacket water exit.

I have done something similar on the MSX 140 but the EMM water dumps out the right side, stator water out the left.

This pisser is on the left side. I used a hot wire loop to cut through the foam. Getting at the inside of the gunwale is quite a reach and tricky to get the hose properly clamped in place.

I removed the water box and left side resonator so I had some room to work.

The pissers are located directly outboard of where the Virage footwell hump is highest.

On the right side I was able to extract the bagged foam spacer insert in one piece. I then worked in the gap to hook up to the pisser nipple and route the hose inside a plastic flex sleeve, visible in this photo going to the top right.

I used 3/8" water exit fittings (Watcon 90 degree pisser) but would have preferred 5/16" or possibly 1/4" hose barbs. The 5/16" hose I used was able to stretch over the big fittings and still clamp properly on the small EMM and stator barb fittings.

This machined bypass fitting is angled at 90 degrees of flow.

    Fits 3/8" ID Cooling Hoses...
Are these the same part as the Watcon product?

Does anyone make a pisser sized for 5/16" hose?
