    FZR Trim Color Change . . . . . or this ??

I removed the gray plastic gunwhale trim from my 2009 FZR in favor of adding black. However, halfway through the conversion, I stopped and pondered this.

    Front Bumper
    Front Corners
    No rub rails
    No rear bumpers

I think it looks sick like this. What do you guys think? Rub rail and rear bumpers or leave it as is?

IMHO it's best to have a trim on it to reduce damage from dock.

I don't use docks unless I absolutely have to, which is VERY rare.

The only time my ski ever bumps anything is if I load on my double trailer on a very windy day, but yeah, I agree about no protection. Decisions, decisions.

it looks good, there are ways around it, get rails that are being used by offshore racers and you will have a similar look.

I just did the front trim and back trim. Looks great. Might have a ohiti somewhere. One my rear ones fell off, sun has done a number to the grays so I bought a set of black.

I've actually got all the black trim pieces. Front corners, rear corners, middle front, both side rub rails, knee trim and seat grab handle and deck beam assembly. In other words, everything that is gray on my 09 will be black.
