Testing Gauge cluster off of ski

Hi all, I just bought a gauge cluster from a 1996 wave venture 1100. It was $40, the seller did not know if it worked or not. I figured I would buy it and take the chance. How do I test it to see if it works without hooking it up to my ski?
Thanks, kyleClick image for larger version.

Nothing wrong with doing this just make sure you use the correct wires.
