High Speed Buck & Nozzle Size
Does nozzle size (87 vs. 85) have an effect on the buck? In theory it would seem a GPR with the smaller nozzle would be more prone to bucking because of the increase in restriction of the nozzle would make it easier for the pump to overstuff. Has anybody found this theory to be true?

Havent tested it... then again I am faster with the 85mm, and dont have a buck either.

Yea I think this is correct. Since the 85mm nozzle is smaller it would cause the pump to stuff easier and to cause bucking. But the 85mm nozzle IMO would still be the fastest.
Some people discussed in another thread on here drilling holes in the pump shoe or releaving pressure from where the drive shaft goes into the hull. Not sure where you would want to drill the holes on the pump shoe but i am sure you would want to drill toward the back of the shoe since that part is firmly in the water at speed.
