Msx 140 back from the dead

I have a pair of two identical msx their vins are 1 off from each other, I bought these skis about 6 months ago for 2 grand and unfortunately they has most of their life out side the the sun damage was pretty bad the person that had didn't take care of them at all but on the plus side they both had under 30hours of use in the displays so here is a couple before and after the resto even their not completely finished.

Nice so far. Did you end up repainting the red parts?

Looking great!!! If you find a way to get the oxidation off the silver, let me know. I can get it a tolerable dull shine lol

Always nice to see these machines being brought back to life

Note: You may need to rework the trailer winch as the bow roller is supposed to be above the bow eye. Ideally the bow roller is positioned just below the hull seam/lip.

Thats one of those stupid Zieman trailers that don't let you do that. They make you attach the winch strap loop to a spot on the trailer instead. Its a crappy winch setup if you ask me.

They run great the oy thing that was wrong with these skis were that both of the fuel regulator fell of so once I changed those out they run perfectly not a problem with them.

Just need to buy or fabricate some brackets to shift the bow roller up higher. Etrailer.com and others have lots of metal bits and roller bracket stuff.
