    Is a 4" front mount kanaflex a concern for water ingestion on a 2014 RXT-X 260

Hey fellas, I am getting ready to beef up the performance on my ski. I do mostly flat water riding only because the ocean is not easily accessible for me. I do love to travel to the NJ Shore when time permits. When I do ocean riding I love to jump 8' + wakes. Would it be safe to use a 4" front mount kanaflex when jumping those size wakes? Thanks

Sure lots of guys have 4" air upfront on several types of skis. BUT, don't hook it directly to the built in air behind the dash due to water ingestion. Simply put a stainless steel air filter on the kana flex as depicted in the photo and route the air intake tubes NEAR the filter.

You better have 1-2 750+ fpm bilge pumps installed also, because you will take on water!

Thanks JPT... When I bought the ski the first thing I did was a bilge pump, before she even hit the water...
