2014 RXPX 260 Supercharged - 87 MPH Today in choppy salt water with Riva Athena ECU
Big thanks to Duke at DCC Motorsports for getting this ski dialed in! The ski went 87 today in choppy salt water. The ski came unhooked multiple times during our testing. All of our 86+ mph runs were done with very low timing under WOT and 17 lbs of boost. I have many reflash maps and I know the Vtech runs 39 degrees. I run low 30's as I think timing kills these motors. I believe there is still more in this ski. We will find out once we can test in smooth, fresh water. I am not running a stock Riva map which you can download from their web site. Many changes were made to the map in order to achieve these results. The Athena has gotten a very bad rap, but if you understand tuning and are comfortable tuning your own ski, it is a much cheaper option than many other stand alone ecu's on the market. Great job Duke, let's see what else this thing can do!

Very nice results.... that ski is moving..... what rev? and charger?

It's a Rec ski so I run the ET 68-140 charger. Duke pitched the prop to run right at 9k rpm's.

That's flying mate, congrats! Are you using the 100lb injectors? Did you modify the stage 4map?
I'm currently using the Athena with 100lb injectors and xxx charger and getting a nasty surge up top, just wondering if you had the same problem initially?

I run the ID 1000 injectors. I had to retune the entire ski once I put a cam in, so I didn't really see a surge. Do you have a data logger on your ski?

Yes I have the Riva data logger with no usb cable to extract data onto my laptop, I have been chasing one for the last couple of weeks but no one seems to have them here in Aus.
