2008 Ranger RZR - high performance side by side

I saw this on a TV show the other day and it looks bad a**.

This sure would be nice to run around the lake roads on, or even throw some paddles on for the dunes.

They are going to be tough to get the first year, 2 per qualifying dealer.
The engine is the WEBER they have been using in the Polaris watercraft and snowmobiles. The engines are used in the HS stand up and the Sugar Sand boat line, zodiac type boats are also usning the power plant.
I guess my point is the engine should be strong and reliable.
You'll be able to mod that bad boy, quite easily. You also have Rive as a HS/Weber dealer so you should see some mod stuff pretty quick.
The quad world is also very fast at upgrading the side by side units, so it should be cool.

    Al,
The Engine That Is In The Rzr Is A Sportsman 800 Engine. It Is Not The Weber Engine. At Least That Is What I Was Told And I Have Seen In Pictures As Well As Brochures. Unless There Is A Surprise In It For All Of Us!!!!! =d>

my understanding is that it's a sportsman 800, i put a $500 for the first one at my local dealer. trade my wife's rhino in for it. can't wait to play with it, even though i'd rather be on two wheels any day, (actually just one wheel...if your really asking )

    NNNNOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo!!!!
    It's the 800 engine??
I don't know why I was thinking it was Weber?
Oh I remember it went into another 4 wheeler, the name will come to me later. Artie will remember the correct company name.

I'm sorry for the wrong information, brain fart I guess!!!
Thanks for straightening me out guys!

    That was it Jay, THANKS!!!

The Redline is cool but it's not going to hold a candle to the RZR.
