R&D 802-00080 Fuel Pressure Regulator: Anyone running it?

I've been looking at this one and the Riva RY12040 unit as well. I like the price tag of the R&D unit. What are your opinions on the adjust-ability of the R&D unit without a liquid filled gauge? I've also been thinking about just building one but my time is scarce right now so I may just buy a unit that is ready to drop in.

PS, I am assuming by looking in the store that you have to purchase the billet piece to block off the OEM regulator as well, correct?

Correct! You have to buy the stock regulator blockoff separately and a fuel pressure gauge separately.... hence the cheap price.
I can tell you I have maybe sold one of these R&D regs... if that many. Everyone goes for the Riva which is a complete kit... nothing else to buy.

I've been told the riva regulater is a $50 knock off regulator. Is that true? I like the simplicity of the kit though. Very simple design and tucked out if the way.

The R&D kit still comes out about $70 cheaper even if you purchase everything separately. Either kit will work. I don't know where the Riva kit is made but I do know the R&D kit is made in the USA.

I have been using the Riva kit for years. I have had zero issues.
